Immigrant Refugee and Undocumented Students in Action 

This cluster supports immigrant, refugee, and undocumented (IRU) graduate students conducting local, community-based research in the U.S. Facing legal, cultural, and institutional barriers, IRU students often struggle to participate in local organizations. Our research cluster creates a supportive space for collaboration, skill-building, and dialogue with community groups. We aim to empower IRU students to bridge academic knowledge and real-world action, fostering inclusive, cross-cultural partnerships that strengthen both scholarship and social justice work.
